A Lancasters aircrew during WW2 are on a operations deep in enemy territory when their plane is suddenly attacked causing one of the engines to fail . With the bomber losing fuel, facing an endless sea and with their lives hanging in the balance, the pilot makes a bold decision to try and guide the damaged aircraft back to safety. Despite the odds stacked against them, the skilled pilot uses all of his expertise and bravery to navigate the Lancaster and fly many miles at zero feet , never giving up on his mission to get his crew back home safely.
